Large auto transport carriers — typically 75+ feet long — need adequate space to maneuver. In the vast majority of neighborhoods, this is never an issue. But in certain situations, the driver may need to stop a short distance away for safety reasons.
We always coordinate with you in advance so you're never caught off guard. If there's a potential issue with your street, your driver will call 24–48 hours before pickup to discuss alternatives — usually just meeting at the end of the street or a nearby parking lot.
The bottom line: 95% of our customers never experience any access issues. When we do run into a restriction, we always find a solution nearby — and we always communicate proactively. You'll never be left guessing.

Transport trucks need room to maneuver and turn around safely. Very narrow cul-de-sacs or single-lane streets may not allow a large carrier to fit.

Enclosed carriers sit 13+ feet tall. Low branches, power lines, or overhead utility cables can prevent safe entry into certain driveways or roads.
Weight Restrictions
Some residential roads, bridges, or neighborhood access roads have posted weight limits that a fully loaded transport truck legally cannot exceed.
Gated Communities
Some gated neighborhoods restrict commercial vehicle access or require advance authorization. Without access, the driver can't enter the community.

Active roadwork, closed lanes, or temporary detours around your area may block carrier access on your scheduled pickup day.
